I don't think that's a viable solution.
Also, I can plainly see the election is for way more than 1 title, there's a whole ass list in here, though some of them go to others because of the Confederate Partition, the vast majority go to my one chosen heir who isn't even in the line of succession apparently, or at least not very high up.
I personally don't usually bother with electives usually because this unless I absolutely have to. But properly used they can definitely save your succession when they do, you can remove them later when they are no longer needed (such as when you unlock high partition or primogeniture).
TL;DR this game PUNISHES YOU for doing well, especially in previous lives, so it's ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ pointless to grow your power because you'll get ♥♥♥♥♥♥ by your own ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ vassals.
It can take a few bad experiences to get the hang of it but once you learn the various tools at your disposal then it becomes an annoyance more then an obstacle to grow powerful.
Or just start as a basque ruler, activate visigothic codes to have high partition at the start and sail through the game.
Issue 2: you shouldn't be letting your vassals rebel at all (unless you're interesting in stealing some of their titles). If your family is supposedly "so horny," then you must have had many relatives to marry off. Why do you not have an alliance with every one of your powerful vassals? If they're your ally, they can't rebel.
TL;DR: Game's fair, and honestly quite easy; your strategy just sucks.
I just like to have lots of kids, i have favorites, but i usually have 2 or 3 behind them in case of "le funny" deaths and whatnot.
The while point of ck3s difficulty is managing succession and vassals in a large realm. Without that you just blob endless and it would get boring fast.
And trust me, I have won an revolt of my entire Realm with this Duchy only.
