Can't end Iberian Struggle
Title says it all. Can't end it because I conquered all of Iberia and now I don't meet the requirements to end it. Makes no sense, how did the devs overlook this?

A bit more info my guy. Are you sure you conquered all of the holdings ? Are you sure France didn't take any land ? Did you take those small islands right of the Hispanic realm ? Is your faith and culture the same across your main kingdom title ?

Ps. You can check the requirements for each of the endings in the struggle tab... Tho im assuming you are going for the Dominance ending

You are incorrect. Check the Ending Requirements; they'll give you a checklist of exactly what you're missing.

To clarify, I hold all of Iberia as of now, the requirement I'm missing to end the struggle is that it's in the hostile phase, which is impossible for me now as most of my counties are of my religion and there are no hostiles of a different faith to fight or scheme against.
This makes it so I can't end the struggle with any ending as there's literally no one left to fight in Iberia. I looked it up, and people have struggled with the same problem.

Hey OP I’m late here but I just did the same thing. You are correct, you can get to a point where is impossible for struggle to be compete as the hostility phase (needed for dominance victory condition)will no longer be triggered due to you being too dominant aka not enough powers left to fight.

To make it even dumber and a really an imbecilic oversight by paradox, you can literally miss your opportunity by being too successful that you can never reach 100% culture in your kingdom as by the time you promote your culture lesser kingdoms are de jure annexed meaning you never catch up.

The only way to get around this is to cheese the primary title mechanic to a smallest possible kingdom then convert culture. Truly a game/immersion breaking mechanic. But by your time this impossible, you’ll have to do another cheese mechanic by giving away over half your kingdoms to get one of the other two ends of the struggle.against.

Kinda stupid as the game should let you end the struggle if you have control of all counties in the counties in Iberia. I find it strange the devs overlooked this.

If you hold all the territory in Iberia you will have to wait an x-amount of time, holding it all, before you can end the struggle.
Iirc 3 or 5 years.

Developing castle holdings and using hooks on people counts towards making the phase hostile, I believe, together with the slider sliding towards hostile by 1 ever so often by itself, assuming that you are right now exiting opportunity phase.

Once again, check the ending requirements, and they will give you a checklist that shows exactly which requirements you meet and don't meet. That doesn't mean "check year-old Reddit threads about irrelevant oversights that were fixed ages ago."

The first Dominance Requirement is:
"Struggle Phase is Hostility"
OR
"Control all of Iberia AND Primary Title is Kingdom rank or higher AND Primary Title has been held for >5 years."

"OR" being the keyword here. You can get a Dominance ending regardless of which phase the struggle is in.

You are either not reading the ending requirements and assuming incorrectly what your issue is, or you are interpreting what you are reading completely incorrectly. Either way, you are wrong; owning all of Iberia is objectively not the reason you can't end the struggle.

They fixed the Struggle a while ago. It is perfectly possible to end it, you just need to hold a kingdom and convert all its counties to your culture and religion. If you control all of Iberia you can then end it.

You no longer need to be in any specific phase of the Struggle.

I really think he forgot to take those small islands to the right or didn't hold the titles long enough. I literally did this ending less than week ago. So I know it works
