Will Paradox ever add China to the game?

To be honest, China was pretty interesting during CK3 period. Did Paradox already state that they will never add more map regions like China, or is it still possible?

They said a year or more ago that china was most likley not happening, but if it did it would not be till the end of the dev cycle. Basically there are tons more things they want to add before even thinking about it.

Lot more needs to be added to the West and middle east first. China should not even be on the road map at this point.

I would like to see they add China in the game too. But I'm fine if they focus on other regions first.

There is already another Paradox Game called Sengoku for Japan, which is almost the same as CK.

So, In my Opinion, they should remove India from CK and move it to Sengoku, because CK is a Europe-centric Game and I want the Barons to have their AI and Court back.

The game already struggles halfway into a full campaign... you add all of China and so on, that's gonna impact performance heavily.

And then it's the fact that CK probably wouldn't represent the Chinese bureaucratic systems very well either (seeing as it struggles a bit in that regard with everything but the European feudal system tbh).

The eastern half of the map that already exists is useless, we don't need more.

I had always wanted it since CK3 release, I doubt it though.

It isn't too needed, rather get a game set in china like exactly ck3. It would be like the KOEI Romance of the three kingdoms games.

China would mean too much even if you just used west and north central without adding the coast or south. People would demand Mongolia, Which definitely makes sense. Then the focus would probably be heavily on them.

in the end we need content for Africa and INDIA, god India....

to be fair CK 3 needs like 20 culture packs, and I would get most tbh, because we can finally get a rich wold in every corner. Something CK2 never came close to since it was more focused on mechanics.

I also wouldn't want a DLC that half asses China like the CK2 DLC. If anything we should get a Mongol Invasion version of that.

Yeah I agree with you, the performance drops a lot halfway. Too many independent and unlanded characters to process. The only way I can see them add China is if they create a separate map/campain, which could cover the other "half" of the map, so the whole Asian continent, Japan and maybe America ? Tho America... Idk what they could do there... It would probably have to be really "creative and not historically accurate", they could drop some local colony of vikings fighting with native americans ?

Anyway. Its Paradox... if such DLC ever comes out. It could be 5 years from now.
