Injuries Are Out Of Control After Update
Bit worrying this isn't on the list of known issues, and I'm not signing up to a Paradox forum to try to report it. As it stands my entire dynasty is covered in scars from random, unexplained injuries. I just quit out because I play ironman and my wife just got inexplicably injured while safe and with me during a tournament she was only spectating in, with no event. My current heir was severely injured for about a decade, and three of his siblings died from the same inexplicable injuries.

Not a mod issue, this is vanilla. Genuinely not worth risking carrying on playing on ironman until this is resolved. If I had to guess, I'd assume the cause is travel and unseen travel events, but that's a shot in the dark.

Also, unrelated, but there is a relatively serious bug that causes a crash to desktop when merging/splitting armies due to a weird "0 levies" group. You can split off the rest of the army from this "0 levies" and then it will disappear, but if you try to split off the 0 levies or merge an army containing it, instant crash.

Pretty dire update, considering it was a small one.

I also posted about this. The spectators get slammed at tournaments, I think the game currently treats them as participants, and archery, board games, and recitals are just as dangerous to the grandstand occupants as melee. Each individual event is damaging to them and effects stack - multiple event tournaments are as bad as losing sieges for your population.

I'd started a new game, recently, and within ten years in-game time, EVERY female character (historical or filler) in the entire game was either wounded or scarred (at least all of the ones in my diplomatic range, which would include most of Europe, Northern Africa, and parts of the middle east). So were quite a few males, as well.

Including my character's wife, who had never traveled at all, had no events occur that should have wounded her, wasn't a flagellater, and hadn't been involved in anything at all that I knew about.

I think this might have something to do with the new harm mechanic (which you cannot turn off mid-game, even though it was imposed at the 'dangerous' setting by default with the update). Fortunately, I wasn't long into the game (though I'd done extensive set-up by placing 20+ new created characters all over the world), so I will be re-starting with all harm settings disabled.

Same deal. It even happens in contests of wit.

I believe this got patched just today. It was a known bug.

Splendid! Good they were on top of it.

I posted about this as well. It seems that every time you hold/attend a tournament that it's almost guaranteed that at least one member of your family is going to be seriously injured, even when they aren't competing or when the tournament involves only non combat events like recitals and board games. I counted 14 tournaments in a row where my heir or wife were injured (sometimes both) before i stopped keeping track.

And if there was a patch today, it hasn't rolled out to me yet. :)

Did it? Half my family are still dying of wounds, are missing body parts or have brain damage because of tournies going on in the realm.
