Nothing against surreal or the video, just ruined the fun trying to learn CK3.
I'm sure by time I'm done, the 10 hours I spent just TRYING to start, I could already have learned most of this...
As for learning the game, like the others said, play the tutorial. It's pretty good and whatever isn't covered you can learn slowly while playing (because a lot of your focuses are based on your own preference). The recommended rulers are also decent stepping stones because they let you know how difficult the start is and generally suggest a goal.
I've watched videos, but something with a huge mod list and a lot of setup doesn't sound much like a tutorial video. Perhaps much more entertaining, but as an example I taught a friend to play (who skipped the tutorial) and the single thing that stumped her was sending out soldiers. It was so ridiculous that I downloaded her save and checked if it was bugged (and it absolutely was not). Technical things like that are best instructed directly or talked through, and focuses felt out through gameplay.
Personally, I'd look for someone doing vanilla on Lance if you are still looking for videos. There will be people doing beginner's guides at random intervals as well, since CK3 technically is several years old.
How do you still do it?
Just add the edited text file back to the archive(the .ck3 file) using a zip file tool.
Also, make sure not to rename the text file, it needs to have the correct name in the archive.
Ie. Unzip->make edits->Rezip
Good luck! Take your time and learn at your own pace. Make fun out of the circumstances that occur ingame (and don't be afraid to fail and start over, as long as you learn something new each time!). Once you're comfortable enough with the game that it's starting to feel too familiar, then you can start looking into mods and novelty runs like the one in that video.
