Courtiers randomly leaving jobs?

Put my new 17 year old shield maiden into a job as my Caravan Master.
Week later she quits....no reason that I can see.
She isn't married or preggers or injured....shes still in my court....? What gives?
Been happening alot actuelly. I figured it was from old age or injury at first but now it seems to just happen at random.

My caravan masters consistently leave their job during travel, as well. They are still caravan masters for that particular journey, but I have to re-assign them to the court position.

On a related note (or perhaps unrelated), my marshal always leaves my court and becomes a wanderer after a successful journey, even if he's not on that travel with me. Luckily, he is my friend and can be reeled back in to be re-assigned as marshal.

Something seems fishy.
