Legitimize ruling bastard question
I played the game for a long time and I know my way around the game. But there is something I've always wondered.

If you cheat with some one and you manage to get a bastard of yours as an heir of a different kingdom. (everyone at that point still thinks it is a legit child of the current ruling king and queen) -> (you, yourself got different heirs, so it won't be your heir)

When the heir (still in secret a bastard) becomes the king. And at that point I announce that I am the true father of him, does the new king/the ruling bastard convert to my house?
Or does the bastard remain in the previous ruler a.k.a. the 'not-actual-father's' house?

I have never seen that happen. They would get bastard or disputed heritage. The only thing that could happen would be a new Bastard house is created but it would not be under your Dynasty.

No all it does give child in question disputed heritage trait. Only bastards from unmarried single woman get moved to your dynasty/house if you reveal that you are father of the child.

Sometimes if you cheat with married woman and there is event where you get caught, there is chance that woman reveal that you are father. In that case child father is your char and that child becomes your bastard (and get moved to your court in birth) but he does not inherit anything from her mother or mothers husband.

If the mother is an landed ruler, your bastard will inherit claims after his mother dies, so he does inherit something.

And if you legitmize him, he instantly gets the implicit claims on his mother titles and you can instantly press his claim in a male-dominated faith, because his mother is a women.
