Definitely much shorter than HOI4. I haven't played EU4 in a while but I don't remember it clicking with me very fast. I'd say overall CK3 is much quicker to learn but, bear in mind that it's also a different beast. You're not playing a nation, but rather a person at the head of a private army, so you may find a slight increase to your learning curve as you come to understand that dynamic specifically versus the other games.

You should learn basics pretty fast but as it was already mentioned, its quite different gameplay than hoi4 or even EU4. Its more about the individuals and different playstyles. Game as Sadistic Asatru Tribal will be much different than game as Humble Catholic Feudal, also differing by start date and culture a bit. Most problematic part is managing your inheritance within dynasty and trying to stabilise your land from breaking apart

hoi4 might take 4 days minimum, ck3 maybe instantly? ck2 was super long to learn due to the economics and claiming being different

Ive come into CK3 completely new, ive never played HOI4 or EU4. Ive played things like total war and civilization. But i managed to pick up CK3 within about a week or so? My head was a bit whacked at first, but once you figure out the basic premise of it, its enough to get you going comfortably. So i wouldnt worry about the learning curve tbh
