Help! I can't remove these glasses!!!

I saw someone else complaining about them before but that's it.
The moment I took the perk Know Thy Self my ruler got these glasses on his face, and I can't remove them. You can add glasses in the babershop but there's no option to remove them. Since this is now my "default" it's become part of the character in a sense...

I don't see any mods for this either. Anyone know maybe where I could find this in the code to maybe manipulate myself? It's VERY horrendous! My character looks like a fool.... A post I've seen in the post said they only had them on when they visited university but I've never even done that. I've got a total of 7 perks in the Learning tree, maybe that does it? I dunno but it's to painful to look at.

yeah it's a bug that happens whenever you go down the learning route. No way to fix it as far as I know

Weird, I got it a couple times lately and didn't get the glasses. But I do see many random characters wearing them for some reason. If it's the glasses you're referring to, it makes people look like they came out of the Witcher 3 Blood and Wine DLC and breaks the immersion.

I thought I saw a thread about this a bit ago and it was a bug related to using certain mods that would not allow you to remove them. Maybe I misread that who knows.

LOL I know they are ridiculous, I hate seeing them. Didn't exist much less mirrored versions.

By the way I've never had any mods but I do see characters with those spectacles relatively frequently after the latest patch.
