Losing my mind -- invite to join house? adopt?

Last time I played (a year or more ago, waiting for mod compatibility to catch up etc) I swear I had an option to invite houseless characters to join my house (assuming I was head), and to offer to adopt orphans. I'm starting to think that was from a mod that I've since "lost" -- maybe it was deleted from the workshop, etc. There was at least one mod listed in the launcher that didn't have valid name info anymore and was "missing from disk" as I reconfigured things for this playthrough.

Does this ring a bell for anyone? The text for the menu options was very close to "Offer to Adopt" and "Invite to Join House". Also, I believe the adoption also worked on orphaned adults and didn't have any restrictions like me not having an heir, as most I'm encountering on the steam workshop do.

There an event that can fire that let you adopt a kid you find. But there was never adopt or join house in the game might be a mod

Someone on Reddit helped me out, it's the Vampires & Lycanthropy one. (Which I would have never guessed!)
