Georgian or Armenian?

Want to do an apostolic run and cant decide to go Georgian or Armenian.

Georgian castle keeps and caucasian wolves heavy cavalry that gets buffed in mountains and hills seem pretty tight albeit they are a bit weaker than cataphracts but you can defend yourself in mountains with them from the start

but armenians get 2 tenents that buff their holdings in hills (the majority of the terrain in the area) but they have the eastern roman legacy that cuts levies and yes gives cataphracts but i live in hills and mountains

i looked it up and histrocially there were apostolic georgians so i could swing it kind of historically

I had a great run as Apostolic Georgians. The nice thing about Georgian is you can get the caucasian wolves but you're also capable of adopting Byzantine Traditions, so that allows you to get regular Cataphracts as well. Doubling up on two heavy cav units that compliment one another by picking up the slack where the other one falters is really powerful. I also hybridized with Khazarian to get horse archers, which is really easy because the Caucasus region is filled with Khazar culture. You can get incredibly powerful complimentary men at arms very early.

thats an interesting idea. so you just adopted the eastern legacy later? cuz i suppose you cant hypbridize with another "byzantine" culture (which is really weird to me that armenian and gerogian are considered byzantine but maybe it makes sense)

Yeah you can't hybridize with them but you can adopt it once you can afford it.
