level 5 education trait gain not showing on character

I sent my character, an eccentric 'Midas Touched' steward who was count of Holland, to Canterbury on the new university trip activity. HE did really well, up to tier 3 in the 'study hard' intention, which meant I got 3 skill points and a medium chance of trait increase.

Upon finishing it, it said my stewardship education now had changed to 'Golden Sovereign'. I dont recognise the trait so I'm guesing it's the new level 5 one for Stewards. The game pauses when activities finish, so I went to check it out, and my character still had the level4 trait 'Midas Touched'. There was no little symbol in the modifier icons, apart from the pre-existing ones for imaginary friend and emotional intelligence. He got the 3 skill points though.

Unpausing and travelling home, continuing the game, it didnt change, so it doesnt appear to just be a delayed thing. It's just not been applied, with is really rather disappointing!

I had the same problem trying to get the fifth level martial trait as well

Same problem for the 5th level learning.

successfully university tripped to the 4th tier from 3rd but it just stays at the third tier.
