Or get some Mods, which allows you to stop Feuds directly.
There has to be a way to end them without mods or settings.
The first way: Kill them all and I mean all, every Adult and Child.
The second way: Castrate them, until they give up, at least this has worked for me against the Karlings(because they declared a Feud against my House).
Over 400 people in his family... Not a chance. I guess I will just remove the DLC that added this sh*t befor I start a new char.
After the feud goes on for a decade or two, random events will pop up periodically, where you get either asked by other members of your dynasty to stop the feud or where your MC contemplates about it himself. You can then either choose to keep going, or to stop if from your side at the cost of prestige and opinion penalties.
There is also the event, where the other side proposes to end the feud, but it's exceedingly rare to happen.
Did that but his heir continued the feud and even became my nemesis.
Stop hostile schemes against the feuding house first and foremost. I very frequently got the option to end the feud, and that might be because I usually don't care about it and have more important targets for hostile schemes. On the other hand, I never even once got the option to end the feud, as long as I kept scheming against the other dynasty.
Incidentally, I find that the AI is not very willing to blackmail the player over murder secrets, unless they rival you. I thought it was a side effect of F&F since it encourages mass murder during feuds.
Rivals and are a temporary problem, since they all shrug this mortal coil eventually. If you don't want to wait out your rival's demise (or engineer it) why not try blackmail and imprisonment? War then imprisonment, is another option if you want to cut to the chase.
