What does a Cultural Ambassador EXACTLY do as a travel option?
What does a Cultural Ambassador EXACTLY do as a travel option, the description seems rather vague.

I do believe that they help stimulate cultural acceptance. When you travel with the ambassador you should sometimes gain a small amount (1 %) of cultural acceptance when you pass through territory that is not of your culture.

If you are traveling AND you have an appointed Cultural Emissary for your Court, they should automatically fulfill that role without you having to pick / pay for one by using a Travel Options slot.

Are you sure about that, because I've been having trouble getting my cultural emissary to come along with me on travels, even if I assign one that is not landed?

Is there some other requirement for them to travel with me, that I am overlooking?
