Can my laptop run CK3?
I really loved the CK2 and since now CK3 has a sale i was wondering can anyone help me figure out if my laptop can run it? I dont mind lower settings, but if someone knows if it even works i'd appreciate it! Here's the spec:

Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-8250U CPU @ 1.60GHz 1.80 GHz
RAM: 8,00 GT

as long as its 2gb Gram it may run, i have 2gb and just turn most graphics down or off, and turn off animations. Very playable.

There is one graphics option you don't turn off because it makes the game look like melted sherbet.

Well, the specs seam to lead me to think it will work early game at the very least. You might have issues late game, but honestly a lot of folks just play the game for 200-300 years then restart as the late game gets a little boring unless you can amuse yourself.

People that have goals like form Great Britain or something like that often get there rather fast.

another thing, the game has a bunch of different speeds, so playing on fast might cause the game to buffer while everything catches up. Setting it to speed 1 or 2, can often let the game run much better on slower machines. The game doesn't really use high end GPU's so turning down the graphics it might work.

It's to bad you didn't see the free play weekend that happened like a few weeks back or was it a month? I honestly forget, maybe it was when tour's dropped. At any-rate seeing they did it once, they might do it again. You could also buy the game and see if it has issues while you play the tutorial. Click on fastest speed and see if it's buffering at all when you are starting a fresh game. If it's not the game should run pretty well for at least 300 years or so i'd think. Besides it's not a click fest game, a little buffering isn't going to effect you. It's the kind of game that people can play slowly and pause while they think.

I'd say give it a try. Ohh one last thing, make sure the resolution is set to 1080, you could also try running it at 720, though the GUI might get a little large at that point but it would help.

Thank you so much for the answer and in game tips! I appreciate it a lot :) Makes me think I should give this game a try, since the sale is still going.

Sadly, I didn't see the free weekend, it would have been perfect for testing!
