14th and 15th centuries are boring in this game
I know that this is a game mainly about crusades, but seriously, this game needs some late game events. For Baltic states for example there should be The Teuton Order expansion. BTW the defeat of The Teuton Order marked the end of medieval era in Eastern Europe IMO since it made Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth a major power in the region, so it's weird that it's not there as an "end challenge".
Any plans to expand later centuries with some content?

Think they are bad. Playing the last 100 years in EU4 is a borefest.

Yeah I agree. That's why I suggested some kind of Renaissance DLC in the DLC suggestions thread.
The game is getting stale after founding an empire and building solid "historical" borders of it, which is around 100 to 150 years. I never get to 1200s where you get actually good laws and men-at-arms because there's just nothing to do. "Renaissance DLC" seems even more like a far-fetch. What they should do IMO is to fix the crusades and mabe add a later starting date or two: for some reason they had history for ever day after september 1066 in CK2, so it's not that much of a resource strain.

Probably won't happen, but the Late Middle Ages were an era of great societal change. Deepening the mechanics in the latter parts of the game to reflect that would add new challenges and ensure that you actually have something to do besides conquering the whole world.

I'm not gonna argue that a lot of things changed, but
1. There's EU4 alive and kicking, it doesn't make sense to make one game encroaching on another
2. I'm not sure ck3 is suited to represent the societal and economical changes. I mean, come on, just look at the "inventions": most of the time it's just a law-unlock and +1/+5% to some numbers.

1) Yes, but EU4 is a very different game from CK3. CK3 is much more character focused, while EU4 is more of a traditional Grand Strategy game. It would certainly be possible to do parts of the same era while focusing on different aspects. Maybe that hypothetical DLC could push the End Date to 1521 or so, but technically you wouldn't even really have to push back the End Date at all.

And yeah, a new start date in the 1200s would be a good addition.

2) That's certainly true, but there could still be more complexity than there is now. Right now, there's not much to do once you have empire to rule and your dynasty is established, besides conquest for its own sake. Things like a Development, Control and Goverment rework could make the late game more involved.
