oh, i didnt think that would matter as my dynasty is fellow greeks from neighbouring island. Hmm. May start new campaign then
Hmmmm... The more I think about this, the less sense it makes. I started off as a Greek, a fellow vassal in the Byzantine empire, landed in a county on Cyprus. By the time I conquered the duchy of Krete, it was already past the time it has formed in previous games. I had tried to create a new culture when I was on Cyprus AND when I had relocated my capitol to Krete, before AND after I had conquered the necessary duchy title for creating the Kingdom of Krete. At none of these stages was I offered a change to diverge, like has happened naturally in many other locations during different playthroughs, nor when I went to manually diverge, which just proposed a name after my capitol's county.
I know I can change a cultures name when manually diverging, but I'm wanting the specific Cretan culture that is formed from Greek on the Island of Krete
