Mexico and Central America
If CK3 could add Mexico, - the central and southern regions of Mexico - it would be an awesome DLC because Mexico had 2 cultures that had awesome civilization. Plus, Mexico is the perfect size because the land is not huge compared with China. Overall, adding Mexico will add and give CK3 a lot of flavor.

I think, it would be a great game of it's own. Aztecs, Mayas, North American natives would be extremely intersting to play. But in my opinion it shouldn't be a part of this game, because they only coexist seperately to the rest of the world. Historically speaking, there was no touch in this timeline between those two wolrds except of the journey of Leif Ericsson and his temporary settlements in Vinland.

It doesn't have to be a game of its own. I know that America and Europe are very far apart, but there could still be a way to travel to Mexico from Europe when you increase your development. Aztecs and Mayas could add there own temples, pyramids and other buildings to Mexico. You could even launch campaigns to visit and explore mexico's lands and cultures without going to war or launch campaign wars. Aztecs and Mayas are old cultures, so it would make sense to add them in Crusader Kings 3.
Would make sense for EU4, ... but wait, its in EU4 already as it plays in the correct timeframe. :lunar2019deadpanpig:

Starts a game with, for exemple, Charles the Bald, and try to interact with literally anyone beyond the Byzantine Empire: You can't, at least not early on! Heck, Iceland is considered "too far to interact with".

The world is big for sure, but there is already a limit to how much you can interact with others set in place, without the big ocean. So, y'know, you can make the same thing with America!

Plus, if it's a DLC, maybe also get an extra, late-game Innovation where you can make boats that can traverse the ocean! And play as a Native-American tribe, create an Empire out of it, and actually DISCOVER Europe before Europe comes to America! Because, let's be honest, real history is seriously thrown out the window the minute you press the "play" button! :p
As a Central American, I would love to see a game about Mesoamerica. They had a feudal system too. Yet, I don't think it would be useful in CK3.
Sunset Invasion 2. Aztec hordes invading Westeros - always the best part of the A Game of Thrones mod.

I don't like that mod because it doesn't make sense that they invade Europe and they don't even have their land which is Mexico. I would've liked the mod if they added Mexico, however.

It could be great if they could launch it as an extra DLC.
I agree that the only part of the Americas that would make sense for the time period (except as a total overhaul mod eliminating Afro-Eurasia) is Greenland and the easternmost parts of Canada, since that's the only part that interacted with anyone from Afro-Eurasia.

That said, there's nothing stopping you from modding in a Mesoamerican culture and religion and playing a Mesoamerican in Europe. You could even mod Haestein to be of that culture, religion, and appearance and make your own Sunset Invasion.

I don't like the idea of invading Europe as a Mesoamerican. I want the Aztecs and Mayans to have their own land - MExico - but let's be honest, CK3 currently needs a lot of rework on the current map that we have right now. That's why I don't agree that we need to add all of China, although it would be good to have China.

Europe and Persia still need a lot of rework, India needs rework, and Africa needs more rework. So I don't really see the need of adding China until the main map expands and improves.

Adding some of Greenland does make sense because we know that the Vikings arrived their very early; however, adding Canada is very boring. The land would be very boring to conquer. It doesn't have cultures like Mexico with Aztecs and Mayans. Mexico is more interesting.

Mods are not my preference. I want the developers to do better work than the mods do. The developers should do way better and must put in hard and smart work into CK3, so that it can become better.
I'd like to see more Asian countries: China, Korea, Vietnam. Perhaps Japan and surrounding islands if its not too far out of scope? I mean they had a lot of interaction with the Mongols. Maybe some alt history crusading into Eastern Europe could be fun too?
I'd like to see lower framerates, slower days, and just a general decrease in performance. Fingies crossed PDX grants my wish.
How bout random map generator.. now that would be sick af

Wdym alt-history? Crusades in Eastern Europe were a thing. But yeah, even Eastern Europe is barely explored and OP wants to add a whole another world of placeholder religions/cultures?

Nope. Random map? America is no random map. When I say America, I refer to Mexico, especially the central part of Mexico, and perhaps some of the Caribbean Islands, such as Cuba, Puerto Rico, and the Haitian and Dominican island. Mexico is not big compared to China; China is massive; which means that it's going to be a whole bunch of counties for China and Korea. It's a massive part of land; I can't even imagine how many counties China could have.

However, Mexico is the perfect size, not too big and not too small. You have to admit that Mexico has several interesting cultures, which means that it will be more easy to add in the game. On the other hand, China is huge and it has more cultures and complexities, so it won't be easy for the developers to add.

The current map still needs a lot of rework, though.

Mexico is almost the size of the European continent. Go to thetruesize (dot com website) to see how it scales from Ireland to Turkey.

Oh, so i guess mezoamerican cultures didn't have any differences from "classic" western-european feudalism requiring special mechanics to show that? Clearly, with simplifications like that you have no idea what you're talking about.
