She is a women and the most faiths in this game are male-dominated and don't allow for females to become councillor, but there is a bug with female vassals.

You need either an equal(not an option, because the AI will arrange bad marriages for their heirs) or an female-dominated faith, to appoint females as councillor.

ah right ok. thank you
Your spouse will have a chance to get a lifestyle trait for each of the skills if you select their assistance focus to something specific. So if you want them to get a bonus to stewardship, set your spouse to assist in stewardship specifically. They'll periodically have a chance to get a small temporary bonus, which if they get enough, they'll get a permanent stewardship lifestyle trait that will boost their skill permanently.

I'm speaking specifically about your spouse's council position. On the council screen, the upper left position has your spouse and you can assign them a skill to assist you in (martial, stewardship, etc) and they will add a portion of their skill to yours. You may also have them assist in everything, but at a lower portion. If you assign them a specific skill, they have a chance to get a trait related to that skill.

Back to original question. I think Court Physician position is allways open to women, so your daughter should be able to have that position. Sha can't have her own lands though. I use my heirs with good learning as Court Physicians too to get them that physician perk which increases learning stat.
