Plus I also don't get the mindset of must be buying every DLC or the game isn't complete.
If you don't like the basegame, why on earth do you want to invest more money into it?
I know, we're on the internet and people tend to forget that they are supposed to bring some proof about their accusation, but considering how confident you sound about your accusations, it shouldn't be too hard.
Honestly not ALL key sold are scam. But there is no way for you to know which are and which aren't. There was a huge incident in 2016(?) where someone sold stolen keys like that on G2A. A lot of them are aquired through differenced in regional pricing (but yes, also theft.). In the end key-sellers are a grey area AT BEST.
I usually only buy keys from humblebundle nowadays though their prices aren't really all that much cheaper. Steam Sales are enough for me personally.
Honestly I kind of understand what your are getting at. Paradox Games tend to have TONS of expensieve DLCs (that kept me away from most of them) but as of yet they have not continued that practice with CK3 in my opinion as they take their time with releases.
The Royal Edition isn't even all that expensive all things considered. 75€ for the base game and DLCs is perfectly fine for me. That's actually really common for a game + season pass.
Edit: if you want to protest (which is perfectly legitimate) don't buy/play the game AT ALL. That's what I did with Sims4. I simply stopped playing and buying after 3 DLCs because those micro-packs annoyed me so much.
People buying games at full price or preordering is so dumb
Either way. Seriously, just relax. The reactions to this whole situation have been wayyy overkill.
