Saved games after Sept 8th patch
Will my current ironman game still work after the Sept 8th patch?

It will be buggy, best to start a new one. Or see if you can opt into a beta of the current patch (if there is one available)

Ironman games mostly not(For Achievments), normal games should be compatible.

Or once the game is updated, instead of trying to load the game, roll back to the previous patch until you finish the game.
Right click on Crusader Kings 3 at your library list -> Properties -> Betas

Just start a new game. I used to dread starting over as well but it turns out to be the best part of the game. The frustration you feel at the thought of losing everything you built is quickly replaced by joy in watching yourself do it better again.

Major updates such as 1.7 are almost certain to cause issues with existing save games. They may present themselves immediately, or it may become an issue after playing for several hours.

After the 1.7 update is released, I'd strongly recommend using the Betas menu on Steam to roll back to the last 1.6x version before loading your ironman game.

does ironman stil works if I revert?

Yes, that is why I and Trinexx told you.
Take a look at the version you are currently playing, and once the 1.7 update is on, roll back to that same version you are playing now. That way you will be able to keep playing that run without problems and get the achievement.
Doing that (roll back) the only achievements you can't get are the ones that are included at later versions of the game. Example: If you prefer to stay at 1.6 forever and with the 1.8 patch they include 10 new achievements, only those from the 1.8 patch aren’t available to you, all the rest are.
Invented, but to try to make it clearer.

Edit: It is commonly used in EU4, so don't worry, it is perfectly save.

Thanks. I believe in CK2 you could keep on playing but the achievements were disabled when you rolled back.

did you roll back to 1.6.1.2 ?
Everything seems to be working on my end.
