do you need to own the barony a special building is in for the effects or is kingdom enough?
wondering if i am getting the bonuses from stonehenge as king of england when my vassal controls the barony

If the benefits are for a holding, only the direct holder of the title gets it. If it's regional then you're good.

thats what im asking i dont know if its just for the owner of the holding or applies to his liege (me)

You need to personally own the holding in order to get the benefits.

If your vassal controls the holding, he gets the bonus.

It tells you who the bonus applies to.

You can check any building for their effects. The effects can be holding, county or realm effects or a combination. Stonehenge spefically has realm effects so you should be getting a learning bonus and learning lifestyle bonus if you're king and have no liege. If you have a liege the bonus goes to the liege instead.

i tested it and sadly it only applies to the holder of ther castle not the king
