Cant break truce

I can see the truce (and alliances) on my character screen, but how to I chose to break them if I want? When I right click on a fellow duke, I cant declare war due to truce, but no option to declare anyway and break it.

I have not seen a way just once in a while my diplomat will find a coup to break them early.

Allaince: kill one of the people creating the alliance
Truce: Just attack them (note some cultures do not allow truce breaking because of some traditions ie Astute Diplomats)

You should be able to break a Truce by declaring war. You can still press the button even if it has the warnings and big red exclamation point warning you that it's a bad idea. You will receive a big penalty for breaking a truce.

If you have the Astute Diplomats cultural tradition, it makes Truces unbreakable.

There is some cultures have a perk called Astute Diplomats I think. That one stops you from breaking truces which is very bad.
