Why this guy is in my prison? Mod needed
Do you usually have people in your prison and you don't know who they are and why are they rotting there?
Do I free him? Do I kill him? "To be, or not to be, that is the question"
Is there a mod that gives me informations about that prisoner?
My daughter has been taken prisoner... but why? What is the reason? lol

Sieges most likely.
That or you didn't pay attention with pop-ups/events.

Those are the two most common reasons people end up in your jail without knwoing why.

As someone who play at max speed this is something that often happens to me aswell.

It tells you why someone goes to prison.
You either imprisoned them or captured them during a siege.
You're either forgetting or not paying attention.

You shouldn't have more than a handful of prisoners anyway, so you should be able to remember where they all came from. You should be releasing prisoners after revoking land, converting etc

It's how we get the "Oh, this minor noble guy was a young kid when I just so happened to capture him during a war. Guess I accidentally kept him there for 27 years." moments, sometimes followed by a "Alright, you're free to go."

Lol there are many times I will have over 100 prisoners. Why should I release them again?
Unless they can be ransomed or they are a child I can recruit, they stay in my prison until they die/escape. Unless I can lose stress by executing them :)

exactly!!
I don't know if they are rotting in my jail because they were involved in a rebellion by their lord (my vassals) or if they are knights of some king I fought 10 years back, or else.
It's shouldn't be so hard to make a mod that says: "Lord Tarly has been captured by you during Robert's Rebellion" or "Lady Sansa has been captured by you during the siege of King's Landing" puahaha

many of us play this game doing roleplay ahahaha I can't leave an innocent in a prison for just being the knight of some random lord around the world who fought against me. My character is a man of honor.
