Becoming feudal, trouble with declaing wars
Hey,

after playing a spain game as muslim which worked kinda fine for me, I decided to start an iron man game and grap some achivements.
Now I've got the problem that I managed to unite britain, feudalized afterwards (tribal start as irish) and now I've got the problem that the usual casus belli for conquering are missing. The only way I could conquer right now is fabricating claims on duchies (which would take ages) or invite people with claims.

Is it really supposed to be this way, or is something wrong with the game? At my spain gameplay I was feudal from the beginning and there I haven't got problmes like this.

That’s how it woks with feudalism. Iberia has its own set of rules but everywhere else if you are Feudal you have to follow rules when waging war against your own religion.

Well you do also get holy wars, which are extremely effective against Non Christians. I usually play unreformed Asatru and I always feel the same way when I play someone else. No raiding, no conquest CB. What do I actually do with my time?

Yep. It's working as intended. Tribal, warmonger faiths, and the Iberian Struggle, have special CBs that allow you to declare wars more easily.

First I was really irritated after reading the answers, but while checking them with other countries I've played I got the important point: at the beginning i was usually playing with muslims (polygamy has it's advantages) and they have clans in stead of being feudal, which seem to have included the conquest CB.

Well... at least I managed to unite brittain before I was going feudal, otherwise that would have been a real struggle...

Seems like there are some very peaceful years before me, until I unlock the inovation for several CB within one war...

This is where the marriage game comes into play, either marry yourself or your heir to a foreign princess, the princess will inherit claims wich in turn you or your heir will inherit, you can then use those claims to take entire kingdoms at once.

Well.. I usally prefere conquering duchy by duchy and therefore expand my realm somewhat organic in stead of taking big heaps at once, since I feel like that always causes alot of trouble. But it seems like I have to take what I get right now.

Yea there's still a ton to do at court. One of my favorite tricks is to take Golden Obligations and Fabricate Hook to start extorting random kings and the pope for money.
