From Karling to Capet
Greetings,

Im playing the great advtentures campaign, as west frankia, I saw during another campaign that later on in the game the karling (carolingian dynasty) would evolve to Capet.
I do not know exactly what are the necessary requirements in order to achieve it.
Would anybody know by any chance ?

You have to start 867 Count Eudes of Anjou or some relative of him (he has landed uncle also his father was killed by Viking Haesteining which is also near at Montaigu). Then the usual: eat other vassal grow to big boy and kill a host in this case King of France.

So if i just start with the robertine dynasty as soon as I get france my dynasty should branch out to capet, do i understand correctly ?

"Capet" is just a random House name that French characters can get when they take the "Create Cadet Branch" decision. There's no way to guarantee you'll get the name, and it has nothing to do with the Karlings, Robertines, or being king of France. It's a simple dice roll when you take the aforementioned decision as a French-cultured character.

You should be able to change your house name to Capet if it has RP value to you.

yeS I can manually change kingdom/duchy names and perhaps also dynasty but whats the use of changing it to capet if u do not have the fleur-de-lys crest/banner that goes along with it...
and yea it has value to me

Can you upload the house banner? I am not 100% sure but you might be able to.

You can also just start a game as the Capets in 1066, copy their house banner, then paste it into your 867 game
