It takes a little bit of time but is certainly doable.
However, I feel if you posses the whole of Iberia there should be a short way of achieving an outcome.
As I have been told, since it everyone is giving gifts to everyone, making the conciliation the phase almost always.
I don't have the last DLC, and in fact I haven't played CK3 in a while now, so I can't say if it is something that happens without the DLC.
Luckily the console was able to get me where I needed, but other people might not be able to
OR, you can capture a landed ruler; negotiate release for a weak hook; THEN demand payment; but that counts towards Hostility.
But executing captured landed rulers DOESN'T count towards Hostility?!?!
