What is with all the flickering??

This usually happens the first time i load up the game. there is a flickering that happens with the icons its really annoying and the only thing i have found that fixes it is a hard reset of my computer. Anyone know why this is happening and how to fix it?

Yep, it is now completely unplayable. Doing a hard reset wont even help anymore :(

So this has something to do with the last update. I loaded the previous version and zero flickering. load the new update and its flicker city and crash. Fix yo ♥♥♥♥

considering this doesn't seem to be common problem across the board theres a good chance it's on your end, id start w/ driver updates.

Yeah ok.
Just did a fresh install of all drivers (everything is up to date and probably was before i started). This update still does the flickering and then crashes but if i play on the last version no issues, also a quick google search finds more people than myself with the issue and I have no issues with other games.

Got anything else champ?

Do you have a amd radeon graphics card?

I fixed the problem.
I went to my Amd software , click on the ck3 game go into advanced options and disable everything

similar problem, AMD hardware.
i did try to disable every fancy feature, still problem there.
now stupid AMD software is giving me recommendation but wouldn't do it for me, i have to go now and adjust, which is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ crazy cause i got 6900XT, i should'nt downgrade for a game that came out is older than the top notch GPU.


update, too lazy to fix, gonna wait it out.

update 2, i went to game setting, switched it from custom to High, and now it works fine....

so i had the same issues and found this, https://steamcommunity.com/app/1158310/discussions/1/3490878556686365916/ its working for me so far, you should delete your paradox folder in documents back up your saves if you want to keep them and add them back into the save game folder after the game recreates the directories when you load it up.
