PC getting Auto War Control feature like consoles?
I have heard the console version from friends has a auto war feature for accessibility.

I know people will say the Ai is bad ect, but for smaller rebellions it would be handy when you get larger in domain/realm size. Does anyone know if these features will be coming to PC or just for consoles?

It's a feature that sounds quite handy for accessibility.

Why not just have an "auto-rule" button too?

Well not particularly depends which aspect of the game they enjoy,

As above I’m more curious if the console and pc versions will have the same accessibility features like that is all

One handy thing about imperator rome was being able to pass off armies to the AI. If i was tribal or whatever government meant I had multiple armies I couldnt modify running around I set them to siege and then my main big army would go fight other armies. I do wish other paradox games had that option for when a war is too annoying to micro.

This is something we would like to do in the future for PC, but we cannot promise anything. Crossed fingers! :)

I did love this feature! Was great for role playing too and dealing with a large empire.

I hope so, it would be a welcome addition to keep all platforms in line and the same level of accessibility (:

Paradox is trying something different with Victoria 3 for warfare where it was more theater based. With more focus on the troops you send, the supplies you send, the generals you send and what high level orders you give them.

So more the logistics and economics of supporting the war machine and how they are equipped.

They also made war a failure state of diplomatic plays.

The Ai is so terrible I don't think I'd ever use such a feature.

Perhaps but late game dealing with rebellions while the player focuses elsewhere could be perfect.

Yeah thats one of the things that has me excited for vic 3. No chasing down tiny armies or having to split up and siege down 20 castles just for the enemy to back siege me with a tiny stack i missed.

+1, still hope we get this feature like the consoles have, for RP and to deal with easy wars.

It would be very nice when you have 20k armies and don’t want to micro all that crap

Would be great for that, or for minor wars and uprising.

Plus fir just for general role-playing too and removing morr micro when the player feels the need.
