If you bought through Microsoft, though, you may well be in luck. I know they have done a fair bit of work to allow you to play your games wherever you have access to their store. AKA Xbox and PC.
It would not technically be a Steam game still, but you can add a non-Steam game to your Steam library if you really want to go through the trouble. I would just launch through the Microsoft store, personally.
If not you might as well wait till next month, the royal version with all the DLC will most likely be on sale for around 40-50 dollars. It includes the based game, the court DLC and both flavor packs. it's 75 normally.
