Steam deck issues?

I can't launch ck3 on the steam deck. first, the launcher starts but when the game initializes, it crashes without an error message. after that the launcher does not start again. the green steam play button just jumps back to green state after a few seconds. starting in desktop mode or via console doesn't work either.

Game is not verified on the deck, so troubleshoot or hope it gets verified at some point. You'll probably not get much help, as majority of people still don't have decks, and I don't think people are chomping to play CK3 on the deck.

no mods. its just installed, did not work. i also tried reinstalling and verifying the game data.

thats not correct. it's "partially supported" due to missing ui features, small text, and so on. but it should run. it reminds me of the error the game had in the gamepass version.

sadly i don't have much experience with linux and i think its a system related issue.

Someone mentioned turning down the graphics settings from Ultra to High. Any luck with that?
