what are the limitations of the game then ? only passive income ? 1 ransom a year ? max 100g from raid per character ? if you get 2 times extra taxes from steward in a year you have 2 reload ?
and how is that different than using any other basic actions together ?
this is not using tyranny war with esteem ancestors to max out renown in 1 day
or winning wars without a fight by completing kidnapping at specific times
those are most basic of the basic actions a player can make
That's the thing.
The game does not put limitations on mass ransom mechanic spam.
Hence my topic.
This. I remember playing as ireland and investing in buildings and settlements within my capital with my first lord. By the time he died and past on to his heir I was making quite a bit of money. Army upkeep and other things take time and I wasn't overly aggressive with it.
I did other things to get other territories under my banner. Its been awhile since I played, but I remember making bank pretty early going for a steward lifestyle
Game mechanic. VALID game mechanic.
Using is it abusing and gaming?
"I never said simply using it is abusing it. Nor did I say it wasn't a valid game mechanic."
So what is "simply using it" versus what is "abusing it"?
Please define abuse versus "simple use".
Be specific.
