Far From Home achievement not working?

I started off in the Duchy of Uppaland as the original character, I finally took over the Kingdom of Lanka and my Realm Capital is currently on the Count of Dakhina Desa but for some reason I still haven't gotten the achievement. I'm looking at the possible achievements in game and it's saying I can still unlock it, so I don't understand why I haven't already.

I believe (I have no proof) you need your capital to be on an island with a single county. Sri-Lanka wouldn't work. Too large. I know Socotra works.

When you check the achievement in game it will highlight the Islands that will give you the achievement and Sri Lanka was one of them. So Sri Lanka should be fine.

Your starting character was not made with the custom ruler designer, you are still norse and you are still Asatru?

Yeah. I read the description and saw that I couldn't create a character, so I chose the character from Uppaland. And yeah, my Dynasty has remain Asatru and Norse as well. That's why I'm confused, from the achievement's description I've completed all of the requirements.

I assume you have the northern lords dlc?
Then this should work :( I would try these steps:
1. Let the game run for at least 3 months after relocating the capital to Sri Lanka. Maybe it did not update correctly
2. Make the Kingdom of Sri Lanka your primary title. This way the de jure realm capital should be on Sri Lanka (within the region required by the achievment, not sure if it is the county you chose)
3. Try for a different island
4. Repair your CK3 installation
But thats honestly just trying to fix a problem that should not be there in the first place.
If all of this does not work, file a bug report on the PDX forums.

youre independent and have your capital there?
if yes then its bugged or you messed with the gamerules

i got it no problem so not bugged. make sure iron man is enabled... made that mistake once.
