Sibling or other "illegal" marriages in certain faiths are also able to be circumvented by temporarily changing the faith of the persons you want to marry each other using the console with set_faith char_id faith_id and then changing them back (set_faith 123 messalian or adamites etc.)
Problem I got tho is that most of the ones I wanna marry of is of the same religion/faction/country, just diffrent vassals. If I choose one son of a vassal ( which is my main chars brother ), I got up a list of tons of available ladies. So easy one, but if I take the other son of same vassal, only one courtier shows up and it's an old lady who is my court doctor. Unfortunately not the answer to make more ladies ( preferably of the same kingdom ) show up in "arrange-marriage"-screen.
I'll try to make them into my court, but I tried earlier and didn't work. Maybe a fluke or some similar.
Faith as said, they are all the same except one and it's a neighbouring country I'm trying to "invite" to the family-feast. :'D
1. Penalty of having too many marriage based alliances.
2. The son in question is a baron? Arrange marriage doesn't work on barons, as they have no heirs.
Have your tried the find spouse option for the one you want to marry? Sometimes arrange marriage option shows blank for some reason, but the one you're interested in marrying shows up there.
You could also switch temporarily to play as the character in question if landed and see if you can marry that way.
Well I'm glad you giving it a try! :)
1. How can I find this out? A big possibility, since I try to marry of everyone, in to my char's family.
2. Can't find, all I see of the potential candidates to marry is:
Three, one daughter and two sons of my brother. He had other kids I could marry of, but these three, daughter and son 9 years of age and the other son 15, can't click ( and therefore ) choose spouse for any of them and when clicking arrange marriage on the daughter, the only available are 3 champions and 2 courtiers. None of interest, since not same blood.
The boys can only marry my ex's, which I ditched due too old.
Another one of my chars brother got a girl I married of to the brother who has the kids above (lol), no problems, but this brothers other kid is a boy and he can only see the ex's I mentioned earlier. He is of 7 years old.
All above mentioned kids are same kingdom, religion and of same house.
I got three more kids I wanna marry of, of two diffrent houses. To save the text, but maybe it's that I just don't got proper available chars. Seems like I can choose from the pool of the courtiers, champs and ex's, and nothing more, but once choosing them it shows red with hundreds of minus points, they don't wanna marry down.
But I wished these kids I have pinned could marry eachoter, but i'm not allowed to choose those, only of above mentioned pool. So I'll guess, but I need higher value spouses/husbands available? If I'm not gonna mod or cheat.
But as mentioned, I'm opening to cheat/commands/mods to allow me choose freely.
I don't know what i'm doing, got so little time in the game I barerly know anything lol.
But how do I play as others, while my main is still alive and working to switch back to?
I think it can be seen in character's opinion modifiers on marriage screen, which would also explain the huge minus points.
Just press ESC and choose switch character. Do note though, that it does not work on Ironman or disables the mode if chosen (don't know for certain as I play modded).
I did esc and it seems to be able to choose spouses, but still not of the ones I wish them to have. I guess only way is to force it?
Another option would be to edit the save file directly from Documents\Paradox Interactive\Crusader Kings III\save games folder. Just unzip the save file to allow editing, open it with notepad++ or other word editor, go to the character id you want to modify and add or edit:
family_data={
primary_spouse=spouse id
spouse=spouse id
}
section for both of the happy couple. Just add respective spouse id to both of them. Then save the edited file in .ck3 format in the save folder (switch form to any type and put .ck3 at the end of the save name). You can do all this when the game is active and then just load the save after refreshing the load option. Character id is easily obtained by hovering mouse over the portrait when debug_mode/console is enabled.
I managed to get it to work, but what a tedious work lol. Luckely I'm used to doing similar stuff but it sure is tedious.
It'll do for now, I just hope there is a easier way, a mod or a command ( which doesn't seem to be for CK3 but for CK2 ).
Thanks for the help, atleast I can do something about it now!
Does that work for me putting, for ex, the future bride in prison and then give it to one of my sons, or vassals son?
If imprisoned, am I free to marry the son or daughter to anyone I please or only my char?
Which is the name of the faith? Because Chuck Jiggles talked about a prisonmod for this perpouse, it's the same I guess?
Atm I play with up to 4 wifes. My wish is to pair members of my kingdom to eachoter for maximum inbreed. In best, all I wish for is just to be allowed to force the marriage I wish to be made. If that mod does it, I'll happily use it.

Eunuchs, monks/nuns, order members can not also marry by default. I think people with fertility at 0% or lower (like those often with infertile/barren or inbred trait) can also not marry.
Arrange marriage option limits the spouse selection to your court, while Find Spouse option should show those within diplomatic range.
