I just got an email by Paradox saying that CK III was out on PS5 and XBox One. Is there a possibility that it will get controller support on PC?

I only play CK3 with a gamepad on PC using Steam's built in mapping, and only ever use speeds 3 and 5. It works fine. It's no different than using hotkeys to pause and change speeds.

Yes. I've put a few hundred hours into the game with the gamepad, and I'd say it works pretty great. I play on my living room TV from the couch. I think I have the scheme uploaded to the Steam community profiles for CK3.

One stick moves the mouse cursor, the other moves the map around (like WASD would), a button toggles 3 and 5 speed, another pauses, and it has a couple ways to zoom. I access some menus like I would normally by clicking on icons.

It's great they are letting console players in on the fun but it's a braver man than I who can play this game with a joypad.

+1, moved into a studio apartment and had to put the rig behind my tv and resort to gamepad compatible titles. Would love to see this get official gamepad support.

I hope Paradox will add controller support to PC - that would be a game changer for the Steam Deck, where I'd like to play this game.
