Witch Coven Broken...
Started a new game, Can't form a witch coven because the requirements are broken.
Probably a text issue ♥♥♥♥ up caused by Royal Court.
Made a second game just to make sure and yeah, the requirements are def messed up.

Someone mind posting this bug cause I am too lazy to bother.

It should be fine once he gets a 7th house member, he only had 6 at the time of writing.

the texts uber bugged for me. Showing I have 3 requirements met when the only ones are the heir being a witch. My character was created a witch so im assuming either that or a mix of the new update bugged it. Even after I had 4 family members (all of them) and over 8 courtiers being witches i still couldnt found a coven. Killed my mood to grind the game, idk hope they get a fix out soon but glad its not just me
Courtiers don't count unless they're house members. The have to be people that belong to your actual house

This is true though it is useful to convert absolutely everyone you can, and if you find someone with a low chance of conversion, convert all their family and friends etc first, as all those extra people acts as agents in the scheme, increasing the chances of success and also, and very important, others with a witch secret can not use it to blackmail you with. Plus also, the more you have at your Grand Rite, the better :D :bad_beauty:

The problem is when you have a big family to start with and need that 60%, you can get to 59% and die and you need to uncover ALL the secret witches again need to be uncovered. There needs to be a mechanic where if your heir trusts you and is befriended that he learns all the secrets.

I made it work and my dynasty is huge. Took ages to get 60%, especially with doubters and zealous people who wouldn't convert. But now it's nice as I get a lot of offers to attend grand rites.

I know this is an old thread, but incase it helps somebody:

If you run into the issue mentioned by jobra, that you die before you can convert the 60% or even uncover previously converted witches... Simply expose the witch secrets that you know!

You can even scumsave (kill game via taskmanager & restart before autosave) and quickly expose all of them after you died unexpectedly

Sure, everyone will hate you, but you can either wait out these negative opinion modifers or tank them. Often a rough succession is preferable to trying to uncover all the secrets again on a big family.

Be careful, you might lose some family members that are married into other rulers realm. Take extra note who your favorite daughter is married to and if that zealot might just behead her.

The witch coven itself is really OP, one guaranteed lifestyle point every 5 years is really good. You seem to be getting invited to others witch coven meetings this way too. 50g is nothing and herbalist trait is nothing to sneeze at either.

Paired with the Legacies Kin/Graceful aging and/or trait breeding from the blood tree and you get some insanely strong rulers/family members.
