Shrewd and Strong traits

Do you know how to get those traits? See them in AI characters, never seen an event for that or any notification, doesn't seem to be congenital but physical so what I need to do to get them?

They are randomly occurring and not inheritable. You can't do anything to get them, they just appear.

Taking the blood dynasty legacies will make them appear more frequently in your dynasty but it's still pot luck.

If you look in the game files at the those traits they have a super low chance of spawning.

There is also a mystic option that does generate them, but that option is not advised as there are some really nasty potential outcomes mixed in with that (including; Lover's pox, Bubonic Plague and straight Death). It's a game of Russian roulette.

You can add the traits in the custom ruler creator for your character but obviously that only happens at the start of the game.

You can marry people who have those, there is a small chance to get it in that way for your children at least.

You can get Shrewd if your religion has the Reincarnation tenet. You'll get an event about it when a child gets born and that he looks like the splitting image of a famous ancestor.

You can get strong by going to the forest with your best friend and chopping down a tree lol. But usually you randomly get it from cultural traditions like Warrior culture, Coastal warriors, Hird etc.

I think some cultural tenants make them more common.

Strong pops up fairly reliably if you have a martial culture. The norse with their performative honor and coastal warriors especially tend to get the strong trait with some regularity.
