Pick a theme for my Kingdom/Empire Clothing
I was just wondering if their was a way to pick a theme for the clothing my kingdom wears. I was just hoping for that because my vassels don't pick cloth that match my kingdom/empire clothing. Also I keep having to set the clothing for my King and Queen everytime my King Dies. Can it be possible in Crusader King III for Queen or Mentor, or just make the kingdom a republic while the heir is too young to ascend.

I'm going to ignore what you wrote and I'll just suggest you go with a The Simpson's theme. You're welcome.

The Simpsons would look really funny in medieval clothing, but not the theme I had in mind.

It's to do with the culture group they are in. The next Expansion Pack (Royal Court) will make changes to this with the changes to the culture system (you can pick the culture clothing style but it is not fully customisable, if you had some elements that you wanted that didn't match that culture style, you would still have to use the barbershop).

You can't make your Kingdom a Republic (unless you use mods). You can't play Venice as a Republic. You can't make a Republic. You can grant a Republic leader more land and it will turn Republic, but Republic leaders don't marry/have children so eventually it will go back to a Tribal, Feudal or Clan leader. So no, you can't make your place a Republic whilst you are too young to be crowned. The only time that really ever happened in history that I've heard of is with Oliver Cromwell, who wasn't technically a King but a Lord Protector and that falls way outside of the Crusader Kings 3 timezone having happened in the 17th Century.

If you have a child ruler, you will be in for a shaky start. You can't make the Ruler's mother the proxy ruler, you can't make the mentor one either. You won't be able to use Sway scheme, go on hunts, host feasts, go on a pilgrimage or a whole host of other useful activities. You will not be able to select a lifestyle choice until 16, or marry. About the only thing you can do is invite your peers, which was a new interaction recently added. Being a child ruler is rather a brutal transition, because in certain religions it is very easy for the Religious head to give out claims to claimants due to your young age (e.g. Catholicism).

In history, there were child rulers, and they did go to feasts and hunts. They generally had an adviser selected by the council to be their right hand and this individual would tackle the day to day whilst occasionally getting a wax seal on the important decisions from the eventual King or Queen. They did also have proxy rulers. Unfortunately CK3 doesn't step into any of this just yet, but I think it would be useful.
