Remove "No Raiment" ???
I had a lunatic king demand everyone in the court be nude. After that crazy king died everyone is STILL nude and I am seemingly stuck with a -1 to prestige. How do I fix this? Its becoming a pretty big problem.

I've never had this happen but, and this is just an idea, maybe try converting to Adamism or something similar (any religion which has the er... can't remember the name but 'naked' doctrine) then convert away from it (to one where they wear clothes). That might work.

why not just instantly convert to a religion, who wear clothes?

My logic is that the doctrine should replace your court decision (not sure what else to call having a mental nudist king), thereby meaning that converting to and then away would remove it when just converting to say Orthodox from Catholic wouldn't. I'm totally guessing though.

It wasn't a religious thing. It was a random event because my king was a crazy person. Plus I'm a unreformed religion.

I don't think it matters, really, since even a heresy is considered a "different" faith.

P.S. I do agree with OP that it should be tied the lunatic ruler (a.k.a. when (s)he dies or abdicate it disappears)

Yeah that's my point. I'm suggesting you convert to a religion with the nudity doctrine which will then hopefully replace the mad king forced nudity with religious forced nudity then switch back to <whatever> thereby getting rid of the nudity.

Oh yeah totally agree it shouldn't be a thing but it is and I'm trying to fix the problem. It only matters in that, and this might be totally wrong, I'm thinking you could replace the forced mental nudity with religious nudity then get rid of that thereby getting rid of the nudity, if you see my point?

I understand your reasoning but I think just switching to a religion without that doctrine should suffice.

Maybe, try that first.

Switched to Adamistism.
Made everything worse.
Solved the problem.
Family tree is now a donut.
Send help.

So it did solve the nudity problem? Job done then... I'm gonna go pat myself on the back. Kidding aside, how do you mean your family tree's a doughnut? And it's still a doughnut after you convert back to <whatever religion you were>? Have you checked your inheritance/succession policy? Changing religion can change that.

It happened to me once. I think you can just remove law where remove succession laws are

Did not know that, if so I feel terrible for leading the OP down this apparently less than optimal road.

This happened to me tonight and its so annoying. That mad king died and his heir resumes but the law is still in place. Where is 'remove succession laws'?
Im brand new to the game and just learning :/

If you do nothing, it goes away over time. People who has no raiment eventually die off. This is something that rarely happens unless you intend it this way. Lunatic bonus is the glass house (green house), just change your capitol to a county that doesn't have an extra slot (uni/temple/etc)
