How to spend Piety.
Right now I've got 3573 Piety I've got a discission to make an I don't know which one to choose.

Do I wait and spend 4150 Piety to reform my religion so I can adopt Feudal ways, or do I spend 1000 peity now and 500 gold to found a Holy Order of my Faith?

I'm 69 years old so I should have a few years to collect the additional 500 piety.

Thanks.

Reforming the faith is much more important but as you know if you die all that piety will disappear. If you have the trait in the learning lifestyle that warns you when you will die I would recommend waiting and if it tells you you'll die then spending it on the holy order.

Also I think if you make an order before reforming, they stay as an order of the old faith.

Unreformed Pagan holy orders do stay in the old Faith.

I probably save scummed though so if you are doing a legit ironman I'd say the above poster's advice is great. I waited longer than I should have to go Feudal; I'm only starting the first Feudal technology era while the other Feudal realms are halfway though the second. I lost a lot of research time once I had all the tribal stuff unlocked and couldn't work on Feudal tier stuff.

Buy a ton of claims for your kids and grandkids to fight over

Expecting to have multiple years with a 69 year old is a bit risky, though I guess I don't know what your traits are. I'd spend the piety, personally.

Thanks all of you very much. I think trying to accumulate 500 more piety is risky with a 69 year old when I'm only getting 3.+ a month like some of you said. Sooooo I'm going for the the Holy Order.

If you plan on reforming ever than that is a very silly move since you will be stuck with a holy order of the old faith.

Yup, no point in holy order if you reform your faith ...
