can you have unlimited Kingdom Titles?
Trying to make an empire but It says I need 120 counties. I have 67 right now with 4 kingdom titles. Can I keep making Kingdom titles or are you limited in how many you can hold before having to give one up like you do with dutchies.

Yes, you can have as many kingdom titles as you want, there is no limitation or penalty with holding numerous kingdom titles.

If you're a duke, you can also have unlimited duchies. Make the jump straight from duke to emperor!

Best thing to do is get your kingdom titles, form your empire then destroy all but one of the kingdom titles (ie: the dejure kingdom your duchies are in).

That way you won't have 1000+ kingdom titles for your vassals to get salty over not having, and nobody will form independent factions based upon those titles.

However, when your ruler dies and your heir takes over, a couple of kingdom titles will be created.

Oh, and also now you don't need 100% of a Kingdom's lands for it to count as Dejure when forming your Empire. You just need to be able to form the Kingdom, and when you establish your Empire with the Kingdom title in your possession, it will become Dejure part of your Custom Empire.

Hoard the kingdom titles, vassals dont care. Once you hit empire, I would create every kingdom title you can, if you have money to burn, then when you hit vassal limit give one away, then repeat as you grow. If you are going really big, maybe give 1 or 2 kingdom tiles per empire you have and share out the duke vassals between them, and keep the rest.

by the time people have that many kingdoms, most people atleast got into early feudal. so they can get regular partition. preventing the title spam.
