Saga in Stone achievement. Erecting 100 rune stones.
How is that even possible? You don't have enough time to even do half on your own.
And although i have many Family members across the world, they are not really making any stones..

you can make one every 10 months so you just gotta keep your dynasty alive for 100 years or so

Yep, doing it on your own will take roughly 1000 years ( a bit less as it resets when your character dies), which is not nearly enough time even if you made one every time it was possible starting at 867 (Ending at 1453).

At the very maximum, if you never skip a single year you can do about 60, realistically you'll do between 30-40 if you actually streched the game till the end.

And although some family members erect sometimes, not nearly enough to erect the rest of the 60ish ( Plus we aren't even sure they count as of this patch).

This achieve is gonna be something nobody does legit for a while.

Anyone figured out how to accomplish this?
FuscusNight 2021 年 3 月 21 日 下午 1:26
Think they'll have to reduce it by a large amount or make sure your AI family members erect their own ones as soon as they get the chance. Otherwise, getting 100% in CK3 will now currently be impossible.

Yeah seems like 100%ing will be impossible before this get addressed.

NPCs will consider the decision every 36 months, have a 50% chance of taking the decision when they consider it, and won't take it if doing so would put them in debt.
Don't feudalize, have as many kids as you can, land as many dynasty members as you can, and you will get it eventually.

Yeah this achievement feels impossible at this point. I recently tried giving gold to them to for sure make a runestone but they're still dumb as a brick. You get massive benefits so I don't know why they don't put that higher on the AI's priority list since you have to wait 10 years. I've been trying for days now to do this dumb achievement. Also placing this achievement on easy in game is an insult.

Also should note that you MUST remain Norse (and/or? not sure) Asatru for this - I lost the ability to raise runestones somewhere in the conversion to Norman Taltosist - not sure which one cost me the loss, but since Taltosism has ancestor worship just like Asatru I would assume it's specific to Norse culture only(which is historically innacurate, Viking runestones have been found throughout the region erected by Normans, Russians, Estonians, Irish... etc anybody who had heavy Norse cultural contact and influence usually had a few.)

You need to be of the North Germanic culture group and your culture needs to be in an earlier era than Late Medieval. If you never convert culture and never feudalize, you will always have the decision.

Any idea if the beta fixes it?
It's funny how something labled as "very easy" is literally undoable.

I've managed to do it around year 1075

In short; place your members everywhere, you can klick all counties at a quite quickly to get an idea of how long you got to go.

In long:
Started as Sigurd, revoked all vassals' titles and placed my house members on all counties/materially married kinswomens husbands. I did the same to all kingdoms and homogenised all conties to be led by members of the family.

I just held Denmark (not to have a hell of civil wars) and made their respektive kingdoms independent. You're very safe as if you're getting attacked by one of your pesky relatives you can easily call all of your other housemembers to the war.

I focused on breeding to get good-statsed dynasty members. I reformed faith with equallity, polygamy, no bastards, and incest so you can form alliances and join their wars so they don't loose their kingdoms.

I had warmongering, lustful-virtue (gives 25% fertility) and ancestor worship, but I don't think these matter too much.

Once you've unlocked great holy wars, when only people from your house have the reformed norse faith, you can call all of them to the war and landless housemembers will be automatically placed on the holdings after the wars finished.

What happens if you reform the Asartu faith?

If this is truly the only method in doing this, it sounds like something i don't feel like bothering to do.
