No one is joining my great holy war.

So I have been playing a game of CK3 so far with a couple of mods. However when ever I start a holy war. None of my vassals join it.

My holy order does but that is the only one who joins. Even through there is empires that have granted independence who could join it. They don't join it.

Your vassals cant join because they are vassals. They "join" when you do. I cant say about other powers

GHWs are bugged in this game version. AI cannot declare them at all, and if you declare them then nobody can join on the attacker side (but defenders are all there).

This only affects the "directed GHW" from a temporal head of faith (like the Jihads), the "undirected GHW" from spiritual faiths (like the Crusades) are fine.

Last night I got my viking but kicked out of Britain by a GHW, they dont seem to be common but they definitely happen.

What KIND of GHW? Catholic Crusades, as he indicated, function just fine.

Vassals can join Great Holy Wars of their liege, they always can join all wars.
You can not call Vassals to Wars, but Vassals can always join.

You can test it with being a vassal and have a liege with a active war.

is this for real? that's a huge oversight if true, hope the devs fix it soon

Yeah it's been around since the Northern Lords DLC i think.

Holy War has been broken since launch you need mods to get proper functionality 1 Year Old game btw with day one bugs in code.

I'm pretty sure that over 97% of all problems are coming from having mods. And the GHW were working before Northern Lords.

Doubtful, I've played almost 2k hours of CK3 almost 300 of which are unmodded tellin ya GHW is still buggy AF it will "Work" but pope often just caves in early and ends the war inconclusively or starts wars when he has ZERO chance to win them which then plunges Catholic authority -100 so no war can ever start again.
