Naming of children, way too much

Scoured the internet and mods a bit but surprisingly I seem to be the only one that has found this to be tiresome enough to post about it.

The first few generations are OK, and enjoyable. However once I get past that and my dynasty tree expands i get bombarded with all sorts of babies and the naming of them. It gets so bad I just end up pressing what I need to get rid of the popup.

I checked settings and mods, i wish i could be responsible for the naming of my direct children and current heir's. It would actually add to the enjoyment for me.

Anyone feel the same or am i making too much of it?

I agree. Its annoying. Idk why they put it like that. Been plenty of times where, just like you describe, I've had pop up after pop up about naming some siblings or whatever kids yet if my child or grandchild suddenly left my court or I wasn't paying attention to them/their character page, they'll have some random name that I definitely didn't choose. Not ok. Needs to be fixed, should at least be able to change names for your people.

It gets really out of hand with a fecund+beautiful character with concubines. 100 ppl in my dynasty after 2 generations.^^

yep i'm in the same game as Ireland marrying off babies to save my @ss from factions and i feel like i'm surfing the internet in the late 90s with all these popups
