I hold all three holy sites, I have the piety, but I'm unable to enter a name so I cannot reform. Is this a known bug or....

I dont think you can rename, You reform the faith so you dont give it a name, it stays Asatru, and the old religion becomes Old Asatru, to change the name I think you would need to reform then create a new religion

You're reforming an existing Pagan faith not creating a new one, as the fella above me said - You would need to reform and then create a new religion to name it and choose an icon.

I'm late to the party but when you reform faiths you cant change names or icons so if you cant reform there may be an entire different reason.

Hi folks.

I'm on the way to reorganizing religion and the game says: You must have three sacred cities (and the owner must be your faith).

Question:
- Should the owner (vassal) of the city (jarl, count, and so on) be of the same faith?
- Or just you - as the "suzerain ruler" of this city?
- Or should the geographic region itself support your religion?
- Or do you need some combination of the points above?

Thanks.

The game itself lets you know what you need in order to reform your religion.

You need to have the Count (the land itself) to have the religion you wanna reorganize or reform. it doesent care if the Person who sits on it is in the religion.

what you "should" look for is that your vassals like you so they convert with you to the new religion.

and if you can manage it, set your "Headquarters" (i dont know a better name, bad at english ^^) to a holy site, it gives very good traits for the region and to its holder.

You mean geographic region itself must support your religion?

First you need to give an assignment to a religious advisor (high priest, or another depending on the religion) - to spread the faith in this region?

Just to be sure (because it's another 15 years).

yes you need to have the region (where the holy site stands) itself support the religion, and yes your religious advisor needs to spread the faith in that region.
may look to switch him out for a better one with more education so it gets faster converted, if you cant select them you can try to murder him so you get a better one eventually or a worse one.
