Raiding and attrition
Salutations, two quick questions. 1) is there a raid overlay you can toggle up w/ you don't have raid troops up? 2) sometimes I take attrition passing empty land w/o settlements (still ahve plenty of supplies) I get if you pass a castle your supposed to take attrition, however, empty holdings? Also I don't always take attrition when passing castles... is the chance to take attrition based on fort level or something? Thank you.

I think it has to do with being close to either your borders, or ocean tiles. Then your raiders ignore the movement attrition.

Raiding too deep in enemy territory always does incur some attrition losses, but at least your MAA should recover from it after completing the next looting.

And of course you are subject to attrition due to running out of supplies. So the raiding party should be around the size of the target supply limit.

Okay that makes sense thank you! I sorta figured it was due to being too far from my borders. Then again it's a huge improvement over CK2 I think because in CK2 you could only raid counties that touched your borders (except if you had cultural exceptions)
