Ivar the boneless bugged?
I am very confused.

When I start as Ivar, a couple oddities occur. To start off with I am considered an elector of Alba, which doesn't seem right.

The second oddity is that my troops and those of my brother Halfdan Whiteshirt appear to be hostile to one another, meaning moving our troops to the same county results in a battle, despite us not being at war with one another.

Admittedly this is my first time playing CK3 outside of the tutorial, so maybe there is something I am missing, but if so, it doesn't seem intuitive.

First oddity:You own a bit of land that is a part of the kingdom of Alba, that's why you get to vote.

Second oddity: This is really annoying, but I think its is caused either because you are involved into two wars, or because you and Halfdan share the same wargoals.

As annoying as this is, it has its uses. Lets say that you declare war for a particular country and you crush your opponent's army. Another duke takes the opportunity to declare war as well for the same county and sieges it down. In CK3, you can take it from that opponent even though you aren't officially at war.

What i dont get is why do you get a hefty opinion penalty when you yourself cant go feudal as an unreformed pagan but your vassals do instantly when you land them. Also not being able to pillage(destroy counties) and expand tribal land is super lame. Playing tribals in Ck3 currently sucks and the only benefit is not having to pay for troops because as soon as you tech up all your tribal buildings just delete, no transition like it being upgraded to a lvl 2 building in a castle or city. You are basically forced to convert to catholic or else youll be fighting liberty wars forever and crash your economy later in game. Due to all the penalties you are better off playing in scandi and reforming the religion before you even attack england. Did the franks lombards and visigoths have to reform their faith when they invaded castles or? Mongols huns etc? Games kind of a joke with tribal being some sort of messed up mode that bites you in the ass if you dont get rid of it by 1100.
