Vezi statistici:
Bad to have multiple empire titles?
I currently hold the titles of Empire of England, Empire of France, and Empire of Britannia and every time my character dies at least 1 of those is given to someone else and i have to go murder them and their children to get it back. I have absolute crown authority and high partition succession law (primogeniture is not availbale because my culture doesnt have the inovation and i dont know how to get it). Should I destroy the other empire titles and only have one to prevent this?

Imo u should not be with multiple of same tier primary titles without any of the single heir successions laws, people gonna say "oh but its easy u get a claim on it so just go to war and take it back ez" but no i dont like doing it even if i can crush them easily, way better not to create the titles - stay with only 1 of your highest title since u have high partition, anything you can create won't be auto created on death to be given to other heirs (which is the case of confederate) so everything will remain under your realm, even if the titles are not personally yours

On the other hand you could take the approach that I think this game is really about and that is promoting your lineage - not just your holdings.

Personally, I'm happy to have fellow dynastic member holding other empire titles. I, very often, ally with them to help them in their war - mostly in defense of their land rather than aggressive. Land that I, or a previous incarnation of me as the previous ruler, have won, stole, married into, etc. I like that I can call on powerful dynastic allies when my own holdings come under threat.

OR - only ever have 1 heir - ever, always, no exceptions. Then have as many titles as you like, but I don't think that is the purpose of CK3, personally.
The answer to this, and a million other succession based questions, is simple: just go look at the succession tab and decide whether you like the outcome or not.

I suspect that having multiple empire titles, while having any kind of partition succession law, is just asking for serious problems - but there are too many different situations that can make it an acceptable or even good situation. You really have to just look at the Succession tab and decide for yourself if the current succession is acceptable or not.

Destroying titles makes people mad - so it might even be worth adding laws to fiddle with the succession rather than destroying the title, of course adding laws has its own risk - so the answer always comes down to looking at the succession tab.

You could change empire titles succession laws to elective.
The ultimate solution is to reestablish the Roman Empire: this decision melts all de Jure lands of all your empire titles into the title Roman Empire^^ (- you have to meet the prerequisites though... - need the Empire of Italy and some more parts out of greece etc.).

You can still create Empire titles after you restored the Roman Empire.
