I am an Emperor and the vassal I'm pushing the claim for is a count in my realm.
However, I've now had a 4th war and this time the war ended in my favour and the dude is now my vassal. The only thing different is that the Khan I won against in the 4th war is the son of the Khan I had been fighting in the 3 previous wars.
This new Khan has lost the Greatest Khan label which his father (and grand-father) had. Maybe it's that, I dunno? That label didn't stop me winning the Kingdom of Khazarria (sp?) from him before. Seems strange to me.
Anyway, Kingdom of Mongolia is now my vassal. Now all I need to do is find a reason to revoke it and we're good.
