Difference between Royal Edition and Expansion Pass
I was watching gameplay of Crusader Kings III on YouTube recently and it got me excited
But I wanna ask, should I buy the Royal Edition or the Expansion Pass on the next sale?
Money-wise

The only difference is that the Royal Edition includes the game. The Expansion Pass doesn't.

ie. if you don't already have the game, get the Royal Edition. Otherwise you'll have DLC but no game to use it with.

If you do already have the game get the Expansion Pass. Otherwise you'd have 2 copies of the game (with the 2nd probably being un-giftable too).

Or alternatively, if you have nothing you could just get the base game and wait to see if the DLC is any good before getting that.

Kapika I think Expansion pass becomes not available when DLCs are out :)

It says that it contains the 3 upcoming DLCs

Bro, just look at the "Bundle info" in the Store. Base game + Season Pass is exactly the same as Royal Edition. Both contain the same upcoming DLCs preliminarily named "Flavor Pack 1", "Flavor Pack 2", and "Expansion 1".

I doubt it's any cheaper than actually buying the DLCs 1 by 1 as they release would be though, so it wouldn't matter too much either way.
